How I Created a Newsletter (and You Can Too)
My journey from idea to published.
Medium can be like riding a wild horse in an unknown prairie.
You don’t know where you’ll end up.
Once you start writing and reading here consistently, an interesting journey is set to begin.
The great thing about this space is more time leads to more skills, knowledge, and a large inspiration pool. You encounter fantastic writers from all backgrounds. I’ve learned a lot since writing consistently on Medium in July.
I’m now 48 articles into this experience and it’s been a wonderful trip.
Unexpectedly, my writing path took an unforeseen turn — I started a newsletter.
It’s been 10 days since launching.
After seeing 44 people sign up, my heart lit up and I’m still blown away.
I didn’t expect to create a newsletter but a series of events and life choices led me down this path.
Why I started a newsletter
One of my biggest writing influences, so far, has been Tim Denning.
Perhaps you’ve read his articles. Hate him or love him, he makes you think and often his articles ignite a drive to build something.
